Plato’s ideal world is the foundation for our civilization. The ideal world striped the noise of the real world away and enabled humans to manipulate the real world. In the process they threw away the gods. The gods are the unknowns; the unknowable’s. They are random noise that permutates every aspect of our lives and our universe. In Plato’s ideal world they are mostly considered noise and are unwanted. The prime directives of Physics, Math, and Statistics is to remove them.
It is time that we start paying attention to those gods. To understand them, to map them, to know their mechanisms, and to just name them.
AI is the tool to do that. It itself has come face to face with the gods. Without those gods there is no AI. Without those gods there is no intelligence.
